try triple-t.com they make end mills like that mostly for eyeglass machining of the plastic lenes. nice web site too!!!

what solidworks are they using??2001??? what parasolid version??? under convert,parasolid in mcam there is a version prompt 13.1..13. 12.1etc this must match the version that they have if it is an older version of solidwoks you have to set it to maybe 12.1 or 12. try messin with these settings under convert ,parasolid,version !!!hope that helps -

hey bill we use solisworks here and to convert sldprt files all you do is under file convert , parasolid, at the bottom of prompt box-filetypes have it opened up to solidworks(sldprt)and it will convert directly ??also under fileconvert, parasolid,atbottom under version have it set to 13.2parasolid vertion number hope this helps -
under screen config,screentab ,under the shading button have shading active unchecked this should default to wire frame geo only on your file converting

when ever we cut cam profiles i would take the spline and do modify,break,many pick spline and set a line lenth of like .01 this will breakit into small .01 line lenthes for a nice smooth finish also delete splin be fore toolpathing so you only chain the lines hope that helps in the future???

hey fellow snowsurfer there should be a file called hasp9.exe file under your mill9 dir you need to run this and put in your update code to run mill9 maybe call your dealer for some neede support ??? wont be long till surfs up!!!ever try mountain boarding same fun no snow needed but lots of band aids !!! big bandaids

if you are just looking for basic conversational g code maker my haas sales rep gave us a haas g code ofline programming system from another cam maker no names here but call your haas rep

my company uses haas machines and we run long programs at high speed for vacume forming tools i will coat the taper with a light coat of spray white lithium grease very light !!! with no runout !! also if a tool does stick i boost air pressure in the back then do a tool release make sure to set back to origial pressure !! but the dual face and taper contact is the way to go for these type machines

in version 9 under sample mc9 files they have a whole bunch off drawling layouts a size b size etc etc but i cant seem to up load to the ftp site ??? maybe someone else could doit for you every job is a self portrait of the person who did it autograph your work with EXELLENCE
