  1. Maxed out all the timers on the power management and we're working again. If it continues throughout the day I'll call it a success. Thanks G
  2. Ok cool, I'll check that tomorrow
  3. Hey, G Yeah, I set the default to use the Quadro. I added MC 2021 to use the Quadro as well....
  4. Back at it again, Same error, verify won't even open on a wireframe contour path. Is there something wrong with my rig?!?!? I walked through this w CNC on the phone a week ago. Stock models aren't working correctly either Quadro P3000 with the latest drivers.
  5. I ran the migration Just for the tool library twice, no luck. I know I'm doin it correctly, because a helped a co-worker set his up today. I can see my tool library in the folder lol. I have never had so many problems out of Any other release going back to X3. Yes I've reached out to my reseller
  6. It's cutting great now, and I've learned some new ways of getting it done. Thanks Guy's
  7. MC 2021 The integrated tool manager and also the stand alone tool manger are telling me that my tool folder is still a 2020 version. I did update it, and it automagically updated and placed my custom tool folder in the MC 2021 folder. It won't let me save tools I've created within MC. Can I try to re-migrate my tool folder from 2020 to 2021 ?
  8. I made it work, but I couldn't get what I wanted with just one path. I had to copy down eight dynamic paths and point toolpaths. I'm not so sure it can be done with one TP... Ron, I'd be interested to see an example of a Dynamic contour path that can do Multiple depths while only retracting to the reference points ( Same Z for each level).
  9. Ok, you have to turn off the clearance move. I'm assuming that I can use a Point Toolpath to get my tool in and outta there. Am I going to have to use 9 different point toolpaths for each depth of cut??? This is easy with just the regular contour paths, but since dynamic doesn't have Exit Distance you have to direct it where to go each depth. I'll don't mind copying down a ton of paths, just thought someone had a trick maybe Thanks for your input Ron
  10. I played with reference points some, but the tool wanted to retract straight up then go to the Ref point.. I'll get on my computer after my homework and post something up. Need to get this going in the morning
  11. I have box I'm machining that has a .45" wide lip overhanging from the top. I want to use Dynamic contour to chip out the corners. Regular contour paths are not very good for this as the tool engagement in the corners is Bad. There is a starting distance in the parameters, but no Exit distance parameter available (dynamic contour) Enhancement Request Please My tool must move away from the wall .5" before retracting! What's my best option for this? I can post a screenshot if needed, but it's pretty self explanatory. Help Please
  12. Okay, Issue is resolved. Blew away my laptop and I.T. reloaded windows along with the latest Nvidia Drivers. All Good Now
  13. My computer has been having some weird issues for a few weeks. I.T. recommends that we re - image my laptop....
  14. Latest drivers , no luck. Going to do a fresh install next
  15. No luck on that either. I did get verify to launch about 2 out of 15 attempts.... very weird Gonna update the Nvidia drivers when I.T. gets here in an hour.
  16. Working with CNC on this issue, I'll let everyone know the outcome/problem.
  17. No sir, no change... Everything seems to post fine and backplot looks correct as well.
  18. Started using 2021 on Friday, but didn't toolpath anything till this morning. 4 simple toolpaths, click verify, get an Error box that sates: An unknown Error has occurred. Really could use some help, or I'm gonna have to switch back to 2020. I restarted MC, about to restart the computer.
  19. Liking it so far... Programming a $$$$ part with it now.
  20. They do make some nice hyd lift carts that are somewhat cantilevered. What I use on a VMC works well, although maybe not enough reach on a Horz
  21. You can easily fix that in the Gap settings....
  22. I don't understand what's wrong with using Opti-rough and a stock model. It works wonders with a "cutter with inserts" A large step-over and a shallow depth will be basically the same as facing. If you're trying to shave seconds off a operation you may have to use the toolpath editor or possibly had edit to get exactly what you want.
  23. Sounds like you need a better computer instead of bashing software you're not properly equipped to run
