  1. I'll email you the file. your name @ mastercam dot com? ?
  2. The pics attached are errors I seem to get on a weekly basis. The code is good and the parts a good, I'm just unsure is to what this actually means? Mastercam Verify has been a real pain in my back since 2021. I have had many discussions with CNC software on the issues and covered all the bases on computer hardware/software. Is anyone else seeing this? On another note, I've discovered a bug I believe. When using the feedrate and RPM checkbox for finishing passes, the finish pass posts as expected, BUT the spring pass reverts back to original RPM and Keeps the "finish" feedrate. Appreciate any feedback.
  3. What version of Mastercam? You don't necessarily need edge curves to select machining geometry, you can select solids. Make sure in the dialog box that it's set to "both" on creating curves on all edges. These days I create fewer and fewer edges curves....
  4. I get four weeks a year and all federal holidays, I'm allowed to carry over 80 hours, anything more is payed out. Taking two weeks at a time would probably be frowned upon (depending on workload).
  5. Surface finish contour is probably the answer here. Just model a small chamfer/fillet on the solid to drive it. Turn off gouge checking in the parameters.
  6. Thanks!!! Not sure why I didn't think of that lol. Is that a possible bug, or is it a video card thing? Ron, Not in the Bios, but when you open the Nvidia manager it shows to be using the Quadro card for everything. Using one 42" Dell monitor via Hdmi straight out of the laptop.
  7. Nvidia Quadro T1000 (laptop). I updated the drivers not long ago, I have to get Admin approval to do so. 32 G of RAM i7-10850H CPU @ 2.70GHz I will try deleting the workspace file and probably start over
  8. That's what I've been told previously. What explains why my co-worker's rig worked correctly (showing the arrows) But when he loaded My config on his computer The arrows disappeared?? Mean no disrespect, but this is driving me crazy
  9. The Pic showing the arrows was with my mouse cursor hovering over it (can't see cause the screen snip).
  10. It says you're only allowed 10.24kb. That would be *tiny* I've already shrunk it so much lol
  11. I'll attach screenshots of all my settings, but you're only allowed 0.01MB. How are you guys attaching these images?
  12. Ok, that got my backplot window back, thanks. As for the other issue, I am aware of the Alt F9 and the settings for the Gnomon. I've went through all of them lots of times. The problem I have is The Arrows are invisible unless I hover over it ( regardless of which settings I use). I can Only see the "X,Y,and Z" on the screen. Something in my settings / config is causing this
  13. Hey guys, Running MC 2022 update 2. I had previously given up on fixing this issue, because I thought I had covered all the bases... I can only see the gnome at X,Y, Zero if I hover over it. I had chalked it up to maybe a graphics problem. I have a new co-worker here that I'm training up, so we installed MC on his rig and he's off to the races. His computer is working great and he doesn't have that same problem that I have (invisible gnome). I wanted to load all my config, machines, tools, etc. onto his machine, as he's familiar with mine. Guess What, now his works the same as mine Good news is that I know it's something to do with my settings/config. Anyone have ANY ideas? Also, while I'm here, I've somehow managed to either hide or close the Backplot dialog box (one that tells you the op time and lets you toggle the holder on/off) I know this sounds rookie, but I've never killed that before?
  14. I've always done it like MpMaster bla bla bla Op1 Toolpath Toolpath Toolpath Op2 Toolpath Toolpath I do however like the Idea of making subgroups with the Tool Number as the name.... I may have to try that out.
  15. 100% off topic, but How do you change the background color of the ToolPath manager box?? I remember I had done that ages ago, but I've forgotten..... Thanks in advance
  16. Something weird is happening for sure. If you chain just some wireframe from solids do you get the same result?
  17. I don't see a need to filter that toolpath... Turn the filter off and see what you get.
  18. Little late to this, but thanks for all your knowledgeable input over the years! Will be waiting to see how your machining endeavors are goin.
  19. I blew away all my config, common, and mill folders. Replaced with files I luckily had from about two months ago. All Good now!
  20. http://imgur.com/a/z2ME7HW This is 2021 vs 2022. Issue just started last week. I do have my config files saved from a couple months ago, I may blow away the current ones and load them.
  21. Thanks guys, I'll check in the morning. Something is wrong though cause I went back to some stuff with multiple planes I programed weeks ago, they are jacked up too! All the WCS are correct and labeled, but the T & C planes are Greyed out just displays TOP* and TOP* Just to be clear this is in the toolpath dialogue planes area.
  22. All of the sudden in the planes tab of any toolpath page, the Working coordinate system box is the only one available. The tool plane is greyed out using Top* and so is the construction plane Top* This is in 2022. I know this is a setting, just not sure how it got changed, nor where it's located?? Thanks in advance! Kinda stuck at the moment here....
  23. I did this not too long ago using Dynamic Contour with a keyseat cutter, it worked great. You have to use POINT Toolpath followed by your normal path using ref points.
