Hi CMR, I have an 5000-USB, works fine with MC9. I've tryed to program the buttons, no result, but i have'nt put much time in it. I hate the mouse click to go back to mastercam. Waiting for X, then i try it again. Sorry, no help.

Gail, Do you see the G53 in the program, or in the control? When it's only in the control, it come from the toolchange routine in your control.

Maybe it's the gouge-check in the lead-in lead-out menu. Disable, and see wat happen

Just changed this week my page file. from: min 2048, max 4095 to: min 4095, max 4095 This gave me better results on an big Blend toolpath. On the new box (coming soon i hope) i'll put it in an separat partition.

Hi Eric, If both computers are on an network, and you want MC on the new computer exact like it is on the old one, then do a clean install on the new computer and copy your MCAM9-map from the old computer over the MCAM9-map from the new one. HTH

The FLX4000 is a bit out of date, When you want to invest the FLX5000-USB is a better choice. The 5000USB has more functionalaty than the 5000-paralel just my 2€C

Storkman, You can better install mastercam 2 times, 1 with, and 1 without 0904, then you dont to put 0904 on and off and on and off. just a thought

Hi Dragonz, I also can't logon. Our Network administrator blocked all FTP site's (maybe port 21) When i need acces, i do it from home.

Hi Craig My dirty trick: When you are on a network: install mastercam on the new computer in the same map as as it's in the old. Then copy your Mcam-map from the old computer to the new computer and overwrite all, and imo you get a seamless transfer.

A bad way: When you're on a network, after installing copy the complete mcam9 directory from the old computer to the laptop. Then you get al the deufaults, patches and so on. ONLY if stay at the same level!!! If youre going from 9.1SP2 on the old, to 9M0304 on the new, dont do this!!

We run 2 Deckels VW70 with heidenhain control. No problems between mastercam and the control. I've got a good post from my reseller, and he also changed all my points. After posting the NC-file can direct run, no manual edit or changes. V70 is a vertical mill, so no 5-axes work. The post is not ISO but Heidenhain-conv.

I've some thing like this. When you miss-click by selecting entities (say for a chain or surfs for an operation), normally you get a beep and message "try again". In that case Mastercam lock up. This happen only on one computer. I've found that hitting "Ctrl-Alt-Del" followed by "Esc" (+/- 10 times) unlock this situation. Mill 9, 9.1, 9.1Sp2 P4 2Mhz, 512Mb Nvidia Ti4200 (Time for a new one)

Hi Thad, I use an FLX 5000 for 3 months, Sweeet!! wenn i switch to an other computer, i reach every minute for it, and realize how much i use him. When you buy one, take the USB-type ! Those have more functions (outside mastercam) P.S I hate the mouse click on the end, hope thats over in X
