Any of you guys near "Whistler"? I am trying to get out there this year. We've been local (Big Bear, Mammoth) almost a dozen times this year. It's tough, I don't want to get caught in a storm!
I want to add a M31 (Auger foward) to a parameter in Mastercam ... I want it on a switch. I've had difficulty with my canned text before... If I am roughing a chunk I want the auger on. If I go to a surface theres no need to run the auger for hours on end with no chips!

You probably straight have your machines pegged. Once the files start getting that big I will dice it up. I run autosave, when that thing triggers every 15min. It could take 30 sec to a min. Mabe dice up your program rough, finish?
My old computer I use to get the little box at the corner of the screen. I haven't pegged this one yet. :knocking on wood:
I'm not sure what you mean by compound... progressive style stuff...
To be honest, I'm not much of a die guy. I build Plastic injection molds... We have dies here and I have cut them here, not my expertise.

If you have a pool or a spa chances are we build the components to outfit everything from the cosmetic handles to the pump impellars. This place is amazing.... we have nearly 200 plastic injection machines running 24-7. 4 buildings and about 1,000 employees.

Instead of chaining just a horizontal line. the floor of the bore (Vertical) Break that line just past the diameter of the drill, chain the horzontal and the vertical. Also Stock recignition should detect material removal.

Got a couple of calls into some friends close by for some help. What else do you need? I will help you out as much as I CAM. (Ha Ha) If I can't There's 100 more poeple I'm sure that can.
I don't anwser phones though... I have little patience!
Sharon, I personally use my editor (Cimco) to DNC to my machine. Depending on your setup. I would recommend getting some 'ol P.O.S. 256 computer with it's sole purpose to get the program to the machine. If the funding avalible, buy some software for DNCing. (i.e. Preditor etc. )
Here my computer, I usually have SW 2005 open Mastercam Mill and occasionally Lathe open while I'm DNCing to the machine without any problems :knocking on wood:.
If you use the communications through MC, MC is tied up and multiple versions don't work well with my computer.
With Cimco... You can still punch .NC while down loading.
