  1. oppiz, actually wasn't that bad. I got out of the store with covers for under 10,000. The big seller was the 4.9 intrest.
  2. What timing for this thread, I wnet snowmobile shoping yesterday. I ended up with a 2003 polaris indy 500 for me, 2003 polaris edge 340 for the wife, and a 2004 polaris 120 for my 7 year old daughter. This time my son gets the hand me downs. I have a house up by Black Mountian. I have been riding old sleds for the past 3 years and it just got to hard to find parts. The newest 1 I had was a 81 Yamaha 440ss which ran good but was still hard to find parts for. I also have a 79 Scorpian Range Whip that is in real rough shape. I can't beleive i actually talked the wife into 1 new machine, by bringing her with me actually ended up with 3. All I have to say now is let it snow. =============================================== Dan
  3. +1,000 Trev I went on a field trip with my daughter when she was in the 1st grade and one of the other kids uncles showed up with his boy friend. They were holding hands the whole time and it just made me sick. I asked them polity not to show any public displays of affection in front of the kids but they wouldn't stop. I took every thing my wife had to keep me from kicking some a$$ but I controlled my self. Later that evening my daughter was asking why 2 men were holding hands and all I could tell her was it was wrong. To this day I wish I would have meet them in the parking lot to show them what I really thought. ============================================= Dan
  4. [QU-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lemme tell you something... I wear the pants in MY family.. (and I have my wife's permission to say so..) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OTE] Rekd, At leadt you get your wifes to do so. I'm at the point I don't want them back.
  5. midnite now your talkin ===================== Dan
  6. When we went from a regular hasp to a nethasp they wouldn't even let us keep the white hasp. That was not a big deal though all the seats that we had already had were included in the nethasp. If I remember correctly all you should have to do is contact your reseller and the will send you a temporary updated nethasp license file (took about 3 days for us) then after you send them back the white hasp they will send you a permanent nethasp license. I could be wrong but I think that’s all it took. ================================================ Dan
  7. Lets see, my wife is my friends and when she was 15 I was 18 we were all snowmobiling and she got mad and kicked me. My friend told here not to kick her future husband. After that I didn't see her for about 4 years then we started dating. We dated for 1 year and have been married for 10 years. We have 2 children 9-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl. I wouldn't trade it for the world besides I don't think anyone else could put up with me. Dan
  8. Overtime what is that? j/k For the last 2 years overtime has been very rare. Starting to wish we could get some.
  9. Thanks Chris, I'll try that and let you know how it works
  10. Wow that’s pretty interesting. I use stock flip everyday but I use it for 2op. jobs. We never get a job we can flip over in 1 setup but it's nice for keeping my stock boundaries organized. I don't know much about editing a post. Actually if anyone in this forum were to look at my post they would call me a hack but they work for me. What doesn’t seem to make sense to me is why when I post a program I get all the spaces and everything where I want them and when I post both programs together it comes out like buckets? I'll see if I can hack something up tonight but don't count on it. Dan
  11. I was going to take the mc class at Macomb when they first started offering it but couldn't get in. Then I found out from one of the other programmers here that the teacher was just learning mc himself. Lucky for me the other programmer here catchs on real quik and shows me alot. As he says he's a 3'd mill man and i'm just a 2'd lathe guy.
  12. I bought a 1994 Ford Ranger from the scrap yard in 96. I was stolen and recovered with 18,000 miles on it. Every body part on it is scratched or dented. This thing looks like s&*t but starts every time. I just turned 157,000 and am still getting 27mpg. My wife told me I was nuts when I bought it and she' s on her second vehicle since then. Guess it wasn't such a bad buy
  13. Jim, I would be intrested in seeing one of your drawings. I've been using mc lathe on and off since 1989 and havn't seen any of these problems. I wonder if some of the problems are from how you are creating your geometry.
  14. Now thats what i call a post lol
  15. May you have a safe and prosperous New Year Iskander.
  16. Peter, I'm not a newbie at this i've been doing it for 16 years. Everywhere I ever worked we used right handed tools and I never gave much thought to switching to left handed tools. When the question of switching to left handed came up i could not think of a reason why not but i figured the right handed tools were forward and left handed were reversed and there had to be a reason for it. With all the wisdom in this forum and no one where i work having a thought why this was i figured i would post the question here and get some intelligent responses on it which i did. I appreciate everyones input on this subject. Dan
  17. I have a pretty basic question tonight. Normally we use american taps but the job I have tonight requires a M8x1.25 metric tap. The material is 6150. Could anyone help me with the formula for figuring out the feeds and speeds? Thanks in advance Dan
  18. Thanks again for all the replies. Andrews reasoning for why we still use right-handed tools makes a lot of sense. Sounds to me like we will try left handed tools on this one. Thanks again for all your input.
  19. thanks for the responses. they make sense to me. I was wondering if there would be any ill affect on the machine like putting more presure on the ways or anything in the turret. But it don't sound like there is. So if the is what the operator wants thats what i will give him. Cycle time and changing spindle directions is not a problem. Thanks Again, Dan
  20. We just purchased a new Mori Lathe. What I am wondering is what is the difference of setting the machine up with left hand tools verses right hand tools? I realize that right hand tool runs the spindle in the normal direction and left hand tools is spindle reverse. The operator would like this machine setup with left hand tools because it’s easier to see the inserts. I have to believe there is a reason slant bed machines are designed to use right hand tools I just don’t know what the reason might be. If anyone could shed some light on this subject I would appreciate it. Thanks Dan
  21. James, The Net Hasp is working fine. I also followed the instructions in the PDF file and it doesn't seem to be reading the MOLDSERV.INI file correctly. The instructions also say something about editing the .INI file I could have done something wrong there.
  22. I am trying to install mold plus on our net hasp server but am having trouble updating the hasp. Does anyone have any ideas or should I contact the distributor? Thanks in advance Dan
  23. Another great tip. Thanks
