Finally went to lathe school. It was great. Learned that I need to learn alot more. Now I really need to be able to post code that my boss likes. I couldn't make another post work right with finish canned cycle. But MPLFAN.pst does. My only problem is...
I need to turn off "Y"'s.
I need to make the canned drill cycles work( it keeps saying "CUSTOMIZABLE DRILL CYCLE")
and what is G18 and do I just leave it.
Using a Cluster tower I will be doing OP 1 on B0, OP 2 on B90, OP 3 on B180 and OP 4 on B270.
My question is I will be 2 parts per rotation. Is it easier to program both parts on each rotation or program 1 part then transform?
If transform is the fastest how in the world do you make transform work. I did a search and it reads like stereo instructions
Is there a way to set up a post show an error if there is a Q0 in a G83 line. Sometimes when I copy a spot drill operation and make it a drill operation, I forget to put a number in the peck depth.
I program for 7 different style machines. I do exactly like Matt does. I asked the same question awhile back and some of the others on the board suggested to do it this way.
Well yes but that is not what Microsoft calls it.
Is there any reason some of my vb scripts work and some don't.
I can create a folder, set levels. But my multi post script won't work but it does not give me an error either. I really need this script to post to all eight machines at one time.
Got a new computer today but I have a few issues.
Can't get F-keys to work. Is there a way to turn them on?
Also I'm using dual monitors, and when I minimize Mastercam then re-open it Op's manager will not stay where I put it.
I have a HP nw9440 with a nvidia Quadro fx 1500m. That is the laptop version of the quadro card. Wide screen. Worth the money if you plan on doing any complex parts. And this card is at the low end of the class. The 3500 is the top of the line but very high.
