Say I have a pipe and I'm trying to project a hole with a counter bore on to this pipe but not in the center like 2 inches off center. What would be the best way to do this in X? Xform project and I get some funny results.
The nci destination needs to be changed to the same location for each operation. Just go into operations manager and right click on the toolpath, options, change nci destination.
I'm relatively new to version X (Playing around with demo) I was wondering how to go about adding apply or o.k. to the right mouse menu. And I like it alot nice upgrade.
My hats off to the fine crew at CNC software.
You better check head alignment on that thing first off. I have had experience of them dropping one off and it being out from the factory therfore everything you do will be out.
Your mill level three will be fine that is what I use. I don't know about the trunion similarities don't have any experience.
You may want to post a dummy program out with that post and see what you get it might ask you what tool pivot distance to use etc...
have fun
Hello all,
Need some advice from some of you teachers. I was recently called from a community technical college to teach a night course on mastercam. I'm thinking about doing it. What should I expect for money and any other stuff like that? And is there some stuff I can pick up off of the internet for a curriculum plan so I don't overwhelm students. By being an advanced user I may move way to fast.
I will create a line where I want the section and then project it to the surfaces on a different level then just get in the view you want and there it is.
You can uncheck the level that you are using and select the surfaces to that level and as you select them they will disappear to that level. I use the color method it seems to work pretty good.
I'm experiencing that also with the other computer that I work on in another plant and I was told by IT that it had something to do with network because that plant hasn't been upgraded. Have they made any changes on you Roy?
I program thermwood routers for doing 5 axis trim work and I have my post customized to insert z clearance moves in between each repostion move this works great and then I edit them at the machine for efficiency.
