Hello all,
I'm running into a problem with a mold design I'm doing. I need to transition from draft surfaces to the mold plate (red surfaces) and it needs to be a 1" radius can anyone look at this file and give me some hints on how to do this. I'm running version 9.1sp2 no solids. The file is in the version 9 folder under variplume_core_xs.zip. Thanks in advance and this place rocks.
I agree with slick 3+2 programming works all the time for me and I do avoid using the constant axis machining. Tool containment boundaries are the key.
Thanks guys I think it is just the bone heads on the floor not cleaning the stuff out of the collets and overtightening the nut we are using the Techniks 5/8" diameter extention like wildcat is. I'm going to look at some of these suggestions and see if I can find a better nut setup I think that is what is giving them their problem.
Hello all,
I'm looking to improve on a what we use for tool extensions here. We are currently using a 5/8" diameter solid tool extension and the nosepiece (covernut) uses a spanner wrench setup to tighten it up this is the problem area. The operaters keep going through these wrenches like crazy. Got any suggestions for a solid tool extension that uses a standard wrench to tighten them up. thanks in advance
