    this problem seems to be gone in 2023 for this file. knocking on wood.

    And maybe a setting with the gear at the top of the plane manager set your tool equal to construction plane. He slept all your ops and hit edit come and perimeter go to planes you can set them all to your desired WCS.

    yes a 3d contour forced to 2d always stays from what i have seen. have to fix that one manually.

    make sure you enable multi threading. i think it defaults off

    if you duplicate a main plane the tool plane will always snap back to the main when you change views. IE, make a copy of top and don't change the origin

    If you program your depth with incremental it will be correct when you change the plane and then Regen.

    It should. I usually put the sliders at 50% make sure y{ur mad radius is bigger than the part radius

    It will only make 2 axis arcs. XZ it YZ XY. You may have to play with the flow line direction or try raster

    Set the tolerance to .0001 turn off filtering and turn on smoothing settings and shift points randomly along path. If you don't care if your program is a few hundred megabytes you could set a super tiny maximum step but that's probably not necessary

    Tilt 90 and side mill the top. Then side mill at a0

    1053 we have active because they had us do because we were missing tool changes randomly. One of the experimental tool ones. Start a new path on op type change. Keep extension in advanced settings. I'll get a more complete list when I'm at work

    So matercam will open the pdf but it just displays the print. None of the jt views There is an extension for a Siemens jt file. I think out customer would have to send us that.

    Ive got a few differences. do they have a document that explains what each one does?

    They had me check the track cutter comp setting and it seems to have fixed the issue

    So with 2023 when our dealer guy was setting it up he he said there is a new extension for pmi data. Are we able to open the pdf like in jt to go? Currently some of the customer models come in with the data and 2020 would make viewsheets with the dimensions. I haven't tried any in 2023 yet.

    i emailed them and they kicked it back telling me to use autodesk support website. so i sent it thru there

    Those were circle mill and contour paths.

    It's metric values so it's not that bad .

    it was solved by unchecking use cutter comp for 5 axis paths. took 3 times to actually uncheck. we dont really use it but it could be a large bug i guess.

    One of our 520s was off by about 1 mm in the z axis from the factory.
