They said we would be able to machine 2 inches of it.
We got a model of the mytrunion7g. It definitely fits on there. But I guess it's got a different control and no pallet system
About a third of the y-axis travel is below the pallet face. We are looking at the machine for a project but we don't have enough y-axis travel to reach the top of the part.
I've noticed swarf doesn't like going at the sharp corners I always try and put a little bit of a radius.
I don't do it very much but when I do I tend to make my branches so the tool is in the vertical position of the corner it needs to be before it reaches it
If you're lead in at a .001 it has no way of comping more than +.001.
The same thing will happen if you have an internal radius smaller than your positive cutter comp diameter. Either use stock to leave or use the internal corner radius dialog box. Or use a longer lead in. Or indicate the endmill on so it's not running out
This is why I use circlemill as it is usually bulletproof for this as far as lead in goes
You can drop down tool size also it'll give you more room
The threading length will determine the active teeth on the thread mill page and will lock out the pitch parameter.
A single point you can adjust the pitch in the thread mill screen
Advanced configuration from the start menu mastercam folder.
Then click on reset navbar or something like that.
You can try holding shift as you open mastercam also. I know it works for Camplete like that
