  1. Start with smaller depths. Is the tool is sticking out 6.8". Try a .02 step first. Get a good part, then push the cutter.
  2. Can't it be set to automatically create a .bak file? Cimco had a setting for that
  3. The parameter for the distance when peck drilling that the drill rapids back into the hole from the last peck depth.
  4. You probably have overlapping entities, duplicate entities or non coplanar entities
  5. Do you ha e a coolant for an op set to off?
  6. It could be. It gets atomized and makes the machine seem hot and humid inside
  7. I don't think that button works yet. It's on our 2 newer machines. It doesn't do anything. I'm curious if you can write to the result list if it's a g10 line or m code
  8. We use the inspection plus from pqi on our matsuuras. It offers a large amount of cycles you can use are easy to set the drill cycles for. Out yasdas came with the probe system factory installed. The new one has the I gauge software which will check straightness and roundness.
  9. One of those big grunfos pumps. Sometimes the m8 pump is smaller
  10. My old place had a kitamura with a non random changer. There was always an empty spot with no pot. It would unhook and rotate the magazine while in the pot waiting position to the ejecting tools position. I'm the maintenance menu you can unlatch the pot and it will drop down into the machine. I then reinstalled it backwards and sheared the arm off the pot. Luckily I just had to buy a pot and stick it back in. It was a nice pallet changer. If something went wrong you could handle feed it back or estop it and push it untill the apc home position light lit up.
  11. Gon is the yasnac lookahead. Hon is for the Siemens and gets converted to g131 for fanuc Parameter 1604 bit 0 will turn on aicc automatically on fanuc.
  12. do the first depth then transform it in z I did a part using transform to plunge rough then clean the walls in steps. It worked good
  13. I would just use contour set to ramp with a distance of whatever is recommended for your insert.
  14. I hardly ever use it but I think I had to make a surface below the lower rail as a floor surface. That's why I always use old school swarf. It's less twitchy
  15. Check the box that says minimize rotation changes. And change the maximum step to a very low amount
  16. We bought a Makino ps95. It didn't even have aicc. Fanuc came down after we bought it afterwards and we bought the option. The professional p control seems nice but it's basically an oi control. Terrible blends even with large lead in radii and overlap. Z axis creeps up as it warms. Machining blades you're dropping z while it's creeping up. Every time you drop zee an extra .0001 it bites you. It ruined Makino for our company and we'll probably never buy another one.
  17. So it started doing it again after I changed the tool so I looked in the control def and changed the minimum nc step and math function tolerance to .00001 and it seems to have fixed it.
  18. There is a parameter that needs to be changed. It happened to all of ours. I think it's in the 3000 range
  19. Yes. Put a little lock icon or check box next to it.
  20. That variable is not in the post
  21. 2020. Thanks, I will give it a shot tomorrow I will try. I need to strip it of customer data
  22. I have a square with radii in the 4 corners. Tool path tolerance it .00001. On all 4 sides the posted code is moving.00005 along each length. The geometry is straight I even drew new geometry if I annalize with six place decimals it's a straight line.. The post is set for 6 place decimal. Will adjusting the system tolerance help this?
  23. They mail us the camplete usb in a separate package. We've gotten them before the machines If that's really the case call them and ask them for a 30-day license to get you going
