False bottom stuff gets programmed off the center.
If it's a finished part and I'm doing fine boring all set to the datum surface.
Now that a lot of stuff is probed makes it a lot easier you can come off datum services while you're not at the datum zero
We used the Harvey diamond coated with the double helix.
It pulls up on bottom and pushes down on top. We cut a bunch of windows with it. It tends to splinter if not supported so make a nice cap to hold it down
What's the diameter of your cutter is that a 10 mm hole or a 10 inch hole?
I will look at your combination of multipasses. It's probably not enough room
Problem is if you quote somebody and then change your mind there's no way to delete the quote block from your response and the forum saves it so you can never respond again without that quote block
Extension, stickout. Our setup sheets say stickout.
EOF would be end of flute
When I export the summary notes from camplete it puts a picture of the holder and it will put the extension gauge length and anything you put in the tool description part number. I also have the NC format spit it out under the tool tool description. So if you want to change the tool when you stop it on that tool you'll know exactly what you need to do.
Otherwise it just kind of describe the whole of if it has to be spun back or not flute length when special or standard or stub.
Ours seems to get randomly deleted.
It's on the server and used by 6 computers.
It is about 2Kb in size but sometimes ends up at 196 bytes after it disappears. It only started happening after a new employee but it has happened when he wasn't there also.
Anyone experience similar?
If you have a rough and finisher and hit yes it will merge them.
If you are drilling a hundred holes with different operations and hit no it will make 100 drills the same size and tool number.
I feel there should be an import asis check box
Yeah there's something weird going on with it because the description for miscellaneous integer for has disappeared. This is the switch for g112.
After he handed the code turning it on and off only at the beginning and end it seemed to work good.
I wonder if somebody inadvertently overwrote something
It's using g112 and if keep tool down is not selected it keeps turning it on and off. All the other programs seem to turn it on at the beginning and off at the end. At some point the post-processor was updated.
But something like a hex it works perfectly fine.
We're going to do an experiment tomorrow and then we'll have to see if they can modify it.
I'll see if I can get my boss to download a shot too
I used the default lathe and it was the same. If I do a plain milling face contour it is correct. He may not have the plane correct. we sent a ziptogo off.
The live tool can't reach on the lower face and it's not posting a rotation. (2 chains in one op).
Can you make it rotate to c180 for the second chain?
I had a part in Camplete for the 5-axis I was trying to do this and I had the same problem when I was at a0c0 it wouldn't index with the new work offset. I ended up running all three programs in succession.
You have to set all your planes to zero for the work offset
Mpmaster has it in it as misc integers.
In it works in the header unless you hit reset. But normally it should turn off after each tool.
our post has it baked in but uses something like if nextdc<0 [g5.1q1]. In the tool change block.
