No, that won't get the job done. You need to look at the first post in the topic for system requirements.

I was wondering if they can be assinged mastercam functions, like main menu, or backup.

Somename75,

The Explorer Intellimouse I have can be programmed to enable program specific functions for all the buttons. Just program the desired Mastercam hotkey for the particular button.

Go to your mouse settings and check it out. You need ver4.0 or higher mouse software you can get at Microsoft's website.

Few things of note:

This has only been tested on mc9.1sp2 and windows XP. I was forced upgraded to both a while back and no longer have access to mc8.1.1 or windows 98.

Bryan,

Just to pass info along, I have tried this on both 8.1.1 and 9.1 running on W98. The menu appears fine, but the functions are grayed out and don't respond. Works fine on W2k.

Thank you very much for a great little utility.

I tried to get the c-hook to work but didn't have any luck. I have removed the files that were installed in the c-hook folder. Now when I am in MC, and going from one file to another I get a mesage: Library not found(MCAM9DEFAULT.DF9). I know it changed my config file, but I just don't see what changed.

Any Ideas???

My home PC uses a Logitec Mouse and Keyboard(wireless) but I did not install the Logitec Software. Why mess with it if it works I say??

I have a test chook for Logitec out to Code_Breaker. If anyone else using a Logitech mouse is having problems and you would like to try the test chook please email me at my ivanxxxx email address before noon (eastern) today.

Ok stick a fork in me I'm done. This will be the last update for a long time. My tempory reprieve from another project is over. frown.gif I'll be working on that for the near future.

Updated file:

http://www.ivanxxxx.com/mmouse_20040607.zip

Changes:

1) Now works with Logitech Mice (my bad) (thanks Code_Breaker and others)

2) Menu Limit of 500 items is removed. Sort of. I've re-coded the memory for the menu items. In theory they are limited only by your systems memory. In practice, I've limited them to approximately 3000 items. If you need more than 3000 items you need to get a life.

Also of note, the Setview (Name Plane) module has a limit of 100 items. If you need more, see previous comment.

Thanks everybody for the help and positive comments.
