The HTML output works great but not sure how the Excel works HELP........

You need the latest version of mcutils for that. But I'm not sure if there is an english version available. Andreas made the translation for the first version of mcutils.

If you have exel installed, than exel will be executed with a new sheet. You can save it from there where you want.

Start mcutils with Alt+C or set it as start chook in your mastercam configuration.

After starting mcutils you have toolbars in the operation manager as well as in the solid manager. Also you can use the wheel for dynamic rotation and pan. Scrolling over the color field will change the color, same with the level field, but as I said before this works only with the latest version of mcutils.

The toolbars can be configured with a right click on the toolbars.

Ncdatasheet can be started with mcutils as a button on the toolbar in the operation manager or with Alt+C.

Try going there and look for the "Numbers" tab.

 

Find regional settings in "Control Panel".

Well, at this time it's cold here, around -5° to 5° celsius. It's also snowing in some areas of Germany. So, you will need a warm jacket.

If you are using html output then go to print preview in your internet explorer and set your layout to landscape and reduce the margins. The columns will automatically resize to fit the page setup.

I am talking the columns between the different parameters. like the step down may put the '-' on one line and then the '.375' below it. or the tool name on 2 or 3 lines.

This is a cool setup sheet. Thanks. I have just recently had the time to use it. It does every thing I want except, my tool diameter is .124 with a .062 radius and it rounds it to .12 diameter with a .06 radius. I am assuming this has something to do with metric vs. english but dont know. Anyone have any ideas.

Any way to use HTML output and have tools sorted numerically? Right now I'm just using excel then sort tool # column. HTML output is alot easier on the eyes though.

I like the setup sheet but i just ran into an error on it or the programmer (me). If you drill and select incremental depth the setup sheet only finds the first drill location for the min Z. I did try the changing the Z-Min/Z-Max button from incl rpd moves to only fr moves. I dont know what that does but I do know that it did not fix the Z depth problem.

I really like the ncdatasheet chook!!

 

Does anyone think it would be even better if there was a check-box for changing the output to a complete tool list for the whole job. Maybe with context sensistive output that would give tip angle for drills and chamfer-mills but no tip angle for endmills?

Is there already a chook that does this??
