moving origin

I need to know how to move my origin point from one place to another thank you for any help

Best way is to read the WCS tutorial in the FTP site under the "unspecified" folder. Explains everything pretty well.

Or, if you just brought the file in and you want to 'set it up the way *you* want it,' try Xform-Translate-All-Entities-Done-Between pts. Select where you want to be the origin, select Origin from the side menu, and you'll prabably want to Move it, not Copy it.

In that case I guess you are looking at just setting up your model according to origin of mastercam. So instead of playing with wcs I would recommend you to follow Thad's opinion. Xform has solution for you.

Sounded like thats what he wanted to do.

Lee he wants to move the origin. That's coordinate system I guess. Adjusting grid will not change the coord of your file.

i have toolpath in the origin ,after i have moved it from the second manu WCS setting and regenerate toolpath,the toolpath still not change.....anyone please help.
