You should really take a look at Powermill. We use it for our Makino's and are able to program at a 1micron tolerance. I know that is a little overkill, but Powermill eats right through it. 2d in Powermill sucks, but processing time is pretty good.

 

I have also heard good things about using Work NC along with Makino's.

you are right ,hardmill , we pushing buttons but

when you going on plane, you trust a pilot and some one who build the plane isn't it ?

I trying to adopt post for x3 .

To not damage my currant set up , I copied and renamed all necessary files to create new machine . I set new post for new machine definition .

Then after while i started new file. Checked

In Op Men property's in "file" my old set up .It came out right files (mmd, control etc )

Then when i started programing i found it changed my setups in control definition like arc parameters and tool setups (offsets ).

Why ?
