Toolpath Parameter Delay? WE NEED YOUR HELP

Do you have a long delay when click on 'Parameters' for a High Speed Toolpath?

We need your help. If you have longer than a 3 second delay when accessing the Parameter pages, please continue reading.

If you do not have a delay, or if your delay is 2 seconds or less, then this thread does not apply to you.

CNC Software has created an Inspection Utility to gather system information to help diagnose a specific delay when accessing Toolpath Parameters for the HST toolpaths. We need users that have this delay to participate in running some tests.

Refer to this thread:

Keith,

If that is the case, please run this utility and send your results to QC. They need our input.

Verndog,

They have identified some of the causes of this delay and fixes are being implemented. By focusing attention on users with the longest delays, they are looking for other possible reasons this might be going on. Any information we can give them to help find the issues will help. I talked with some very high level folks at CNC to bring additional attention to this issue, in hopes we can get a fix in place for X5. The real problem is that this error does not occur on ANY machine in the building at CNC Software. So the root cause is looking like a display driver conflict, or a conflict with Windows Updates. Every computer that is running Mastercam (over 100 I'm sure) in their building is less than a 1 second delay, even on files with hundreds of operations. So finding the root cause is a pretty daunting challenge to say the least.
