Call me a cheap xxxx, I never buy my parents or in-laws a Christmas gift. I always make them something. Below are some pictures of my boy which were a gift in 2005, made using MC Art.

This year, I'm working on a matching peice, showing his brother who is now about the same age as when this one was done. 1-1/2 y.o.

I'm curious at to what kind of cutters you are using for cutting wood in 3D.

john...i use a 1/8 tapered ball carbide, 1/4 2 flute down-cut, 1/2 corn-cobb for roughing od's and a v-bit with a 20 degree included angle with a .005 tip.

Here are a few things I did. the Dinos were for a open house at work and there was a Dino theme. So I scanned my kids Dino book and you can see in the picture.

The other one of the family was a test from a family photo on my desk at work.

Ok I'll share. This was made with Corian. It matches our kitchen counter tops.
