New File Extension Format...

So, I've just downloaded X5 and I'm ready to bring up my machine definitions, but it doesn't see my old definitions without the new "-5" file extensions.

 

How do I bring in my old X4 definitions?

Man, I would sure hope they aren't having those types of issues this close to the actual release. I'd have thought they were just working on the final details right now.

Ok, I apologize to everyone here and CNC software. If it's needed, I'll make a complete uninstallation guide for those who installed it and I'll take any repercussions that come with what I did. But legally, I'm safe because it was a general web visible file.

 

To CNC software: Please set up your file permissions correctly next time to stop @ssholes like me on ruining release day fun. (BTW, great job on X5! I love it!!! )

no harm no foul Evil. Everyone wants to be the hero and be the first to delivery the news and we appreciate the the help, but it is just a little safer if you let us do it.

 

We are performing some last minutes tests and updates on our download servers and service which is hosted by a 3rd party so please be patient and wait for the official notification that it is released.
