I was getting this as well. I contacted my reseller. They said that the post would convert the invalid arc to a linear move and it wouldn't be an issue. I also found that if I turned smoothing off in my filter settings that the error would go away. I was roughing anyways leaving .020"/s so I wasn't worried about smoothing anyways.

Yea increased the numbers in the filter and it for rid of the problem

I have tried to increase my arc filter tolerance for surface high speed opti tool paths and I get crashes or violations in the tool path. I would like to use it but, I can't get it to work.

Turn off smoothing and it will most likely work for you.

Arc filter branch, click refine toolpath and uncheck the box for smoothing.

I just checked my smoothing settings and the box is unchecked.

Any more thoughts here?

I keep getting this error and am concerned that a posted program with this error will cause some unintended results (i.e. crash or surface violation). It occurs with OptiCore. I was able to eliminate it by turning off the "line/arc filtering settings - create arcs in XY". But now my programs are much longer and also takes forever verify. Any other suggestions? With this be fixed in X7?

I get it when Helixing into the part here and there.

The machine just stops right there.

I see this with other paths as well. Where does it actually" MARK the invalid arc endpoint"? How do you see it?

This scares me and that is why I just don't post and run the code, I don't know what it is going to do. Without 3rd party NC verification its too much of a gamble.

This doesn't work anymore - at least as far as I can tell. Several versions back It would create a 3D point (geometry), so then you could see where the invalid arc was when backplotting.
