Enhancement requests that have been implemented?

Multi-threading... I requested back in V6.13a era. I had a dual Pentium Pro 200MHz at the time and I had parts that the toolpath generation routinely crunched overnight. That finally came to be in X5 IIRC.

My work around was to multi-session MC and assign each session to it's own CPU. In V7 I had a Quad Pro 200.

My request was well over 10 years in the making. :p

But yours was probably the most difficult one and way ahead of its time

All I'm wondering is that every now and then some really great ideas are posted here that everyone reads and says 'wow - that's sweet' or thinks 'that'll save a ton of time', but they never seem to get any further than here...

Why waste time with all of those when what we really need is something that will help with our art projects...... :smoke:

I made a request that when you are entering data in fields that you could use the 10-key and hit enter to go to the next field (instead of tab). It was implemented in the next version but then taken out later. I was really bummed about that, i could enter data extremely fast using the 10-key only.

Difficult, probably. Ahead of it's time? Hardly. Dual CPU systems have been practical since Windows NT was released in the mid-90's.
