Hello All,
It is actually a generic question.
I need to get the O from the first line of code, out of the code.
My control will only take Numbers, not letters.
I can't see in the Pheader section where it is.
Please help.
Thad,
I am trying to create a line tangent to an arc and through a particular point. Angle unknown.
Line has to go through point and be tangent to said arc.
I used to be able to do this in V9??
Where am I going wrong??
I searched for this post and am still very confused.
I now need to create a line tangent to an arc and through a known point.
The angle is unknown.
I used to be able to do this in V9, but can't figure it out.
Surely we don't have to do what Roger is suggesting???
Please help.
So, it sounds like it is doable.
Thad, I know you have used Fadals and was hoping to hear from you.
I might go and look at the machine today.
Is there anything in particular that I should look for?
Hello All.
Anyone using this control to drip feed large files?
Is it doable?
What are the pros and cons of this control?
Thanks in Advance for your input.
Randy,
There are two areas you can play with.
First in the Control Def. Linear Moves, it allows you to tell MC how you want to move your machine.
Secondly, in the Post you can look at PLINOUT and look in there you can actually make a new line with the Z on if you like or vice-versa.
Let me know if you need more specifics.
Kim,
I think you should give more specifics.
I use this toolpath all the time.
If you are using it in shallow areas you will get alot of retracts depending on your gap settings.
Let me know if you need more help.
Bill,
I think you are trying to merge files?
Make a drawing of your machine, say a lathe.
save it as your lathe.
in your master layout, just merge the file into it.
see below.
