  1. Has anyone encountered this message? Simple step file import, usually works fine. Also I clicked the box for solids but it came in surfaces for some reason. X6 MU3
  2. What are the specs on your computer? On my end X7 is more sensitive to lesser rigs.
  3. Would it follow that if you have a weak processor and small memory you should reduce the value? Seems obvious but not sure. I am frequently out in the shop on a laptop. Verify is very choppy.
  4. In my shop we have 3 programmers. None of us are using X7 for these reasons. I use it if I have a program with a long regen, which is very much faster than X6. The other 2 guys won't touch it. Just my $.02 worth.
  5. The old Tool Manager is fine as is? Any plans to MU it?
  6. I threadmilled a couple of hundred 4-40's 1/4" deep in Ti 4AL-6v with the Harvey and it still looked like new. I think it was 4 rough passes at .005 and a finish pass.
  7. +1000 I use this thing almost every day. It is accurate to a couple of tenths. Just make sure the batteries are good.
  8. Speed and feed look good. I like to take a deeper cuts at the top and a smaller ones near bottom, due to the different amounts of contact.
  9. Thanks Mike. I have never messed with the tool change macro, but it sounds like a god idea.
  10. Since we are now using a Speroni tool presetter, obviously the values are a positive number. Is there a way to get the offset table to default to 99? A couple of crashes due to a zero value have already occurred.
  11. I requested multi-threading for 2D HST somewhere around X3, implemented in X7.
  12. I'm pretty sure it can be done on a 3D printer.
  13. Colin, can you elaborate please? I am a novice post editor at best. Where would the "top of the post" be exactly? Thanks
  14. Here is a thread on this subject: http://www.emastercam.com/board/index.php?showtopic=73100&hl=
  15. 2 My example was actually a circle. I will try arcs in the morning.
