I notice when I import an operation whether it is a drill or mill operation it starts to number at the last selected point number or what ever contour number was picked. Some of my ops are into the thousands. So I do believe it has something to do with associativty.

So much for straight forward answers. More like work around answers. What if you no longer have x5? How do you open V9 files? Another bug perhaps?

Wouldn't that be nice! I am not going to install X6 for a while X5 is running fine for me. I don't need the aggrevation for the little bit the "new" features are going to help me out.

I can get it to work, but its not all it was advertised as. You have to play with the angles. ai wish they would just give you a constant z option in the scallop toolpaths.

Can anybody get this toolpath to work without gouging walls??? Everytime I use this toolpath it doesn't stay inside boundaries and mills thru walls. Thanks

I crash 2-4 times a day on two seperate computers. The responses back from MC was my graphic cards needed to be updated with newer drivers. Which I did and still crash and burn. Funny thing at my night job I get the same crashes.....importing and selecting a machining operation. -
How do I convert the ops to the newer version?

X4 MU1 Crash Regenerating Toolpath

Well I put MU1 on one of my boxes and it won't import files. It blows up when I try. I can't put toolpath to it either. Anybody else experience this? Thanks

Hi, I ran into this yesterday. You can either copy your tp you want to change and then delete the original tp and add the copied one to your transformed ones after you make your changes or delete your transform make your changes and then do the transform again. Good Luck

Check your cut depth limits. Sometimes I forget to set them.

I have got the error message 4 times today and had to re-boot MC. It happens in drafting notes only with me. It gets frustrating. Thanks

Lars, Dude?? Did you get the warning? If you delete some of your geometry and regenerate what is left you get no warning! It regenerates the deleted points and will post them out. Sometimes it doesn't show in a verify if it is outside your part dimensions. ???

Hello, Has anyone had problems while trying to create drafting notes? I get an error saying "A required resource was....Then it locks up my screen. Ihave to shutdown MC and start it back up? Thanks!

I tried checking the disable front buffers, but I had the same problem today. Do you have any more suggestions?
