  3. SECTION 1 OVERVIEW OF NETWORK SYSTEM DNC-T/DT/RT FUNCTIONS The system makes the OSP-E100/E10 network-connectable through an EtherneEt. eospitn1001 This function enables the OSP-E100/E10 to easily exchange data on machining with a commercial personal computer that runs on Windows NT. 1. Features (1) Simple interconnection Eeospitn1002 TCP/IP, the standard protocol in the industry, is used as the communication protocol, ensuring an interconnection between the OSP-E100/E10 and almost any PC. The OSP-E100/E10 is connectable to up to eight PCs. (2) High-speed file transfer Part program files can be transferred at high speed between a PC and the OSP. Because the industry-standard FTP is used for file transfer, no special program is required in the PC. - - - - - - - - - - - - This is what the manual says"no special program is required " I told you

  5. "circular cutter"?? All cutters are circular!. You can accomplish by patching up the pocket opening by a surface (called caping also ),hence making the cutter (The Circular Cutter!!)avoid going into the pocket. Also depends on the toolpath you pick, you can also use check surface as to avoid area u dont wanna go into/onto. 2cents

  7. If you buy a cheap/aftermarket/uncertified product and it causes problems, breakdowns, needs too aften repairs. Then whose fault is it?? The Products fault or the buyers? Answere is its the buyers fault , reason being why he choose to buy that low value product. Same applies when the Company Man hires some one uncompetitive. Why blame on him? Go for Skilled people. If not have courage to train someone properly first. Or exactly - Go get a sharp / eager kid out of trade school.
  8. Do as per rob g britt Corner rad = half dia of cutter

  14. MUST be aware of the safety procedures needed. Its inhalation is toxic. Never air blow the chips/dust. Better be aware first.
  15. 1 You need to have a data base of tools/holders you have in tool crib. 2 Create a a STD library of all what you have in Vericut , properly naming them. 3 After your Mastercam is over, post it, create a Vericut Project for that job. 4 Use your vericut library tools, pick tools etc, assemble them with the combinations that work ( for eg holder+shank+tip), process vericut , when happy , print the report from your .tls file. 5 The report file can be customized for the desired output you want to sent to tool crib. 6.Toolcrib should follow the combinations /lengths given in the printed report and do the tool setups.
  16. I mentioned feed mill before. There are other makes/brands if you really want feedmill that size.
  17. Rough with solid carbide feedmills, during ramping the cutting action is on the front of the tool and thats where the feed mill cuts.
  18. You need 4th axis subtitution. Like do the desired toolpath pattern in flat and just roll by 4th axis subtitution.
  19. I think what ommy is trying mastercam fails to do chamfer but could do a fillet. To do chamfer use a CAD software - UG/Solidworks etc.
