  1. JohnK We have 2 Tsudakoma Rotary tables in here (model# RNCK-401)mounted on a Mits MH50e Horizontal. We have been using them for about 4 yrs. now without a single problem. We use them to cut 420SS, so they goe through some punishment...Highly recommended, not sure of pricing, but I'm sure they payed for themselves many times over... Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
  2. G Caputo On the subject of Mitsubishi cutters...Keep in mind that they have a great warranty. If the cutter breaks, they replace it for free within one year...You gotta love that.
  3. jagourley , Try this.... Orientation Landscape Page size E-34x44 in. Paper Source 36 in. Roll No Scaling In Advanced settings process the document "in computer"
  4. Dan, Best of luck to the whole RYR team...How about that Sadler kid?! Impressive... My plan for the weekend, to watch the races and do some serious yardwork..Maybe throw in some quality hours of riding down the shore or into the hills.... [ 05-24-2003, 10:47 AM: Message edited by: robk ]
  5. Welcome In my opinion it's the best software on the market. Very friendly in terms of learning and use... Plus you have this forum for help....
  6. We have seen a very significant increase in customer orders. Things are looking very good here.
  7. Scot, Are all your arcs in the same construction view? Is the construction depth the same for all of them? You could run drillpt c-hook and create points in center of all the arcs you need than drill your points...
  8. quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why would you store your tool library on your server? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is no reason to work off your libraries on the network unless you want slower results... It's a very good habit to back them up on the network every night since the network gets backed up every night anyhow. That way you will always have the latest tools available at all times.
  9. You have choices of multiple libraries...Unless all your machines are exactly the same, or you use MC to program just one machine, one library would be all you needed...Choices are great.
  10. You probably should uninstall V9sp1 before installing V9.1. Make sure you backup all your files .... Why would you still want to have version 7 still on there also?!?
  11. jspangler I agree about "wonderful" dynapath 20 control, but do you have a pleasure of working with dynapath 5c? Your Z negatives are positives and vice-versa... Stay clear my friend, stay clear. No scrap for this week (knock on wood)... [ 04-25-2003, 05:46 AM: Message edited by: robk ]
  12. Try unchecking the Blank paper space entities box
  13. james_r; I'm the one that started the other post (as of now over 60 replies most of them pretty embarassing to me, but you live and learn). If your libraries are huge (as mine are) get them off your network and put them on your hard drive. In your windows explorer rename the extension to mc.9. Open the file like a regular file in MC and resave it...Than go back to your explorer and change the file back to it's original extension... It did the trick for me..Backup your files on the network need be. Good luck.

    V9.1

No setting up or running them for me anymore, but estimating is part of my job. The only time I'm at the machime is when an operator is running one of my probe macro programs...Those still scare me.

    V9.1

I would like to apologize to everyone that I have offended in any way, shape or form. Second I would like to thank Anos for the solution (chnaging the file format to mc.,saving it than renaming it seemed to do the trick)....The reason for me being in such a rush was the schedule I was under. I can NOT afford to be down for a few hours that's why I'm in here on my own time tonight... I'm responsible for programming six machines (4 simple vericals and 2 (5)axis horizontals) each one with a different control.I jump back and forth between programs just to make sure that chips are flying. It gets a little crazy in here sometimes. Every minute counts especially when it was taking me so long opening the libraries..I have a separate library for every machine because of the different tooling that's used. I hope you all understand where I'm comming from, and once again I'm sorry. P.S.---V9.1 It's performing just like it should.
  16. We run a lot of different size o-rings in tne shop here, and the quickest way to do this is to regrind an end mill to your desired O.D. and burn out your I.D. deeper than the depth of your o-ring on an EDM.....

    V9.1

If I wanted a smartass remark from anyone out there I would have asked for one right up front...I apologize to everyone out there for not posting my question "correctly".Didn't know there were rules.. Just to defend myself, I'm not a new Mastercam user...I have used it since V5, so I'm not dumb when it comes to using the software, and I also think it's the greatest CAM software out there. My concern was time in getting the operation library opened, and I haven't gotten a solution yet.I have it on the hard drive and not the network, but it still takes me 1min. and 7 seconds to be exact as compared to 3 seconds flat prior to installing V9.1..If some of you were more interested in helping instead of being critics maybe I would of had a solution by now..Sorry for wasting my time with this site and invading your space........

    V9.1

Just installed V9.1--a couple of hours later I uninstalled it and reinstalled V9.0sp1...It took over one minute just to open up my operation library, and that was my first problem. I didn't hang around to find any more. Rob
