Good morning. I have a problem with the c-axis going the wrong direction. This doesn't matter for most of the parts I have done, however this casting I have to make it does matter. The c-axis is moving the opposite way than it is in verify. Is it a setting in the control def.?
I have this part that has a custom thread. When I set up the threadmill process I added the major dia and now it is greyed out. Can some one take a look at the file. I'm pretty sure I need to add the .0925 lobe radius on the tool to the major dia in mastercam. When you render the part you can see what I mean if I'm not to clear. The I.D. of the thread should have a full radius.

You can save the config from one of your pc's and give a different name, then copy and paste in the correct location on the other pc's. Then at the bottom of the config page select which one you want. You also have to set it in you startup page.
I just did a impeller and silhouette boundry did not give me the correct representation of the part, because of the blades. However, create turn profile did the trick.
Not sure if there is a way for this. Why don't you just manually change the program? G1 z-.500 F5. , G1 Z-1. F100. , G1 Z-1.500 F5. Something like this.
I know it's an easy fix, however this is a production shop and the boss just wants the machine running. If I get some down time I will get this resolved. It's not my shop so I have no say.
They sure did. I used gibbs for years and the shop I'm at uses M.C. I still have to use M.C. here but I bought gibbscam for contract work. Hit me up if you know anyone looking for a contract programmer.
We have had nothing but problems with the post transfer. Here is a program I cut and paste in and make minor ajustmensts. This is from a program we run every month. Hope this helps.
