  1. Scott, I got that new 007...It's cool! I'm at the one where It's a cemetary setting. The guys in the tower. You have to go in the tower etc...I can't get past that one! I like the way it's not 1st person. You checked that one out? I'm Mexican, I don't think anyone illegal should be given a licence, that doesn't apply for citizenship. Irish immigrants, anyone. My grandma was born in an adobe house in Florance Arizona, She still owns the property they all grew up in. I just know that 1/3 of my paycheck ain't going to damn near anything that benefits me! These new icons are cool! I have been so busy I havn't been on this forum for a while!
  2. There's always one.
  3. I made everything in that assembly. I only had to make 1 part (piston, rod, rocker arm etc.) I just use it 8 times......The file is getting pretty big though. When I have the heads in simulation, It gets glitchy sometimes. Leaks oil....
  4. Your toolpath page is full of parameters (namely a couple of finish scallops that take some time to crunch) I hit Toolpath * Operations * Select all * Backplot...........You accidently hit the damn Regen button! Hate that!
  5. I built a motor. I am practicing with the simulation in SW. All the components move, the valves are timed with the pistons (by eye not number). (the numbers are generic though, 4 in. bores 20 * 30 block etc). It's pretty cool though. I am quite impressed with SW assembly, simulation. If you want a copy (I might) think about it. Here's a pic of it.
  6. Damn, I read the directions, I still can't get an image on here. This is a pic of a cavity I just finished......Could any of you fellas' throw a tip or an e-mail. Much appreciated.
  7. quote: BSA investigation What's that about........I missed this one!
  8. Does the rum and coke help with aiming?
  9. quote: At least he makes his own product unlike the (disfunctional) OCC. They sub all the work out and slap it back together with a lot of X-Mas lights added to it. +1000
  10. quote: We ended up buying a Fadal 2016 VMC WHAT? I don't understand? J/K good for you!
  11. quote: Mastercam is Mastercam ,not MasterCad ! +1 MasterCam has been very good to me over the years. The big dogs that design MC are doing a lot more with solids. Unfortunatly SW has that one. Cam nothing compares!
  12. My bad! One of these days I will figure out how to post a pic.
  13. I believe we are on the verge of maximum efficency, everyone always wants more........I just got a sample cutter that I used this morning. .500 1/2 in. high helix (deg.?). I was cutting a pocket 18.00 * 2.500 *1.500 dp. running 7000 (7500 max) at 105. ipm. when it was finished the pocket looked like S@#T! I still had to go in there and leave a decent finish so the part won't stick. I don't think you could give any more any faster! Reality, a $1,000,000.00 Makino with 20,000 rpm spindle......... Good luck! let me know if you do much better than you already are!
  14. quote: if someone would like to donate it to my garage +1
  15. I say, If you spend a little more....You'll get a lot more to your benefit! Celeron blows, spend the couple hundred, You'll see a difference just browsing the web. The difference is comparable to a Fadal, Try to save a little bit of money, and a little more you could have a Haas! That's my TWO CENTS WORTH!
  16. My jefe' (boss) just ordered one also. From what I here it should be here soon? It looks like a cool little mill maby for second opping our molds?! I also heard were getting a couple lathes, I know I'm gonna need some refreshing.......It's been almost 2 years and one version of MC.
  17. This is almost as good as the guy from Vietnam..............!
  18. Hey Scott........How goes it? quote: Before the locks lol!
  19. quote: I thought wrong. I guess this site is a place to get a bunch of crap from fellow users who use their keyboard to compensate for ???. Figure it out JBRETH, Hell of a way to make new friends!
  20. quote: Mastercam Luther LOL........
  21. I've pretty much only used graphite......The thing I have trouble with is we don't have a machine only for graphite. When I cut graphite that s@#t gets everywhere! I do notice a difference between (i.e.) U.S.700 to poco 3. I don't have to re-dress the electrode sometimes at all. Here at the company I work for, they have a lot of copper electrodes, I've only been experienced in graphite.....good luck!
