  1. I do not use it at all. When it first cam out I spent a day creating a tool library, only to find it had a problem that prevented me from making use of it. Quite frankly, I do not see the logic in having to run a separate program when the one inside mastercam does the same thing, and is more flexible.
  2. Yeah, I think there is a Haas VTL
  3. Ah, the legacy. That will get you every time.
  4. I think you are wrong Billb. The shank diameter is what it is using to control the cutting diameter. And, it does not make sense because they should have nothing to do with each other. The moral of the story is there is another MC error than needs to be fixed.
  5. Nah. For what I am doing it would be more effort than it's worth.
  6. Yes, in the post. if opcode$ = 13 & hst_flg what is hst_flag being compared to? Is it assuming 1 or yes? might try: if opcode$ = 13 & hst_flg = 1 or if opcode$ = 13 & hst_flg = yes$
  7. What code is on line 1257?
  8. Actually, the error is not the drawing of a tool with the cutter smaller than the shank. The error is that MC does not allow it.
  9. No, they give me an error when I try to use them in a flowline path.
  10. I have often wondered why people don't just use a horizontal lathe definition and post.
  11. If there was a specific scale formula you could scale multiple instances.
  12. Yes, this does work, however the tool holder info relies on the correct shank diameter to select the correct holder. Usually, when you have to use a workaround in MC, something else is affected.
  13. The version that doesn't work. 2019 update 2 Same problem.
  14. It looks lie it is correct. :1= M01 and that is what you have selected. It could be that someone Jimmied your post.
  15. When I do that it says "shank diameter is too large for tool diameter. The tool is a 3mm lollipop cut from a 1/8 shaft.
  16. I have noticed several problems (like yours) since installing 2019. The update wizard seems to be malfunctioning. I just had to manually copy all of my operation files into my new share directory because the update wizard decided not to do it when updating. I also had similar problems with the control directory. MC must have changed it to think too much. It was much like your's. MC would not show the files, even though they were there. Had to re-update and copy in.
  17. The real problem is that there seems to no other way to describe your lollipop. If you put in a straight relief instead of a taper, tool editor alarms out.
  18. They probably need to be updated to your current version. The new migration wizard has some issues.
  19. My mouse was discontinued years ago, and I have the latest driver.
  20. "Tapered lilipop tool shape is not supported - a straight lollipop tool will be used." I am not sure why I am getting this. I don't even think it's possible to make a tapered lollipop.
  21. Put an "i" where the spaces are and then delete them.
  22. It does not matter which monitor. Dragging it from one to another helps, but there are still some issues.
