  1. its hard for me to design in V9, I don't know how I managed it last time!

  9. In V9, Unlock the toolpath, right click the operation, option, recalculate speed/feed HTH
  10. I got rid of this by updating the SIM again. big headache looking for the update code.... problem solved!
  11. I got this after I installed Mastercam V6. Now, my V6 can run but my V9 and VX coming out with clocked was turned back error? how do I get rid of this?

  16. large dimensionally surface can also affect Mastercam performance at 512, what typical job sizes you plan to work with?
  17. we had a 80 meg assembly igs file and the 512 PC froze trying to convert it. the 2 gig PC finished the job in 20 mins..... it that enough description for you?
  18. and it also affects how Mastercam handles stl files, like using them for verify or for restmill toolpath...sloooooooow
  19. if you're going machine surfaces like more than 100 surafces at a time, cutting tolerances getting tighter than 10 microns.... 512 will really affect your work...like making it really slow and frustrating... we got a lot HP workstation with 512 MB, they run... but real sloooooooooooow....

  21. I believe you need to reselect the new geometry. But I could be wrong..

  23. Does anyone know about the latest status of Mastercam X on Win64? Anyone from CNC Software, Inc. want to update on this? We're planning to change our training centre PCs all to 64 bit system to avoid them getting obsolete too early, HP workstation are pushing for 64 bit systems Sw2007 won't run on Win2K anymore...
