  1. I know Karlo is good in Modeling but never knew he was good in this type of "Modeling" too!
  2. quote: The problem is basically that I can't generate a working code for Denford CNC machines, the code I generated keeps giving me an error saying that the line is too long Hao, Sometimes in my work I get too busy to understand why an error occurs and come out with functional solution..... what I would do is get some actual working CNC codes with no error and compare with the one that comes out from Mastercam.... then I edit the post processor so that it will come out with CNC with almost the same format. So, if find out the difference you can highlight in the forum here so that someone might be able to point where in the post should you make the changes to get the same CNC codes.
  3. HTH for Stork: Hope Thats Horrific.
  4. quote: he also installed X2 (side by side install) the hasp/nethasp settings for X2 will over-ride the ohther previous versions of HASP programs installed, I think. Maybe the NetHASP program of X2 set to network instead of HASP?
  5. Hao, Try using the free Denford post available at mastercam site . see whether they are compatible. There are some updates and downloads for your product that you might want to check out at denford site
  6. quote: just resaving the file is nearly imposible go to Windows control panel, The X button and change the File Open Dialog Style to Woindows standard.... see if that improves things.
  7. I just opened my XMR2 file in X2, a 52 meg part with 1600 surfaces, a dashboard at 1/4 scale with toolpath coming from 5 different planes... felt like it was 2 or 3 second faster... Dazz, just check your toolpath memory allocation and tolerance settings, etc. in X2 and see if you can repeat the slowness on other PCs...
  8. at the bottom there change the 2D mode to 3D, left of Gview settings.

  14. Other than uninstall/reinstall Mastercam and using Windows scan tool (check disk)what other thing can I do to check the integrity of a computer? I'm having a customer with too frequent occurence of gouged toolpath that happens only once, if u regen it will disapper. It occurs like 2/3 times in a month. Mastercam V9.1 SP2
  15. Verify 5 Axis add-on is optional, I dont' htink u have it, so u can't verify and u can't post or create simultenous 5 axis path if you don't have the Multiaxis add-on
  16. Since its urgent, You can pay your Mastercam reseller to get it done for you. find out your reseller through here If you have time maybe you can sign up for a post processor training and start editing your own post. From the forum guideline: quote: Q. Does anyone have a post for a [insert machine or control name here]? A. Ask this question as your first message here and you won't necessarily like the responses you receive. Look to your reseller to supply you with the proper post for your machine, or quote for the work that needs to be done. If you have something and are looking for improvements, it's a reasonable request. Maybe tell us why the post you have needs improvement. Perhaps try to participate a bit on the Forum before you go asking for something. Not unlike Habitat for Humanity, we value Sweat Equity here. Quid pro quo, Clarice. You may also want to let everyone know your company name so that your Hotmail or Yahoo email account doesn't give everyone the impression that you aren't a licensed Mastercam user.
  17. quote: WHEN I SHADE MY WORK OR UP THE RESOLUTION I GET A "SPEKLE" EFFECT ALL OVER ART WORK maybe you can post up a picture of what you're seeing on the forum so we get better description of what your experiencing.

  21. quote: hehhe bye....Mr.Colin Wasn't there a banned member that liked to "HeHeHe" a lot?
  22. quote: run it on a good strong network I'm a nethasp user, got nothing else but the above to say....
