setup sheet?

hello everybody

 

i have a small problem.when i finish programing

a detail,i then type out a sheet to what each

tool is and what it will do.today i typed out

a 1/2 em when it should of been a 3/8 em.

well guess what,the operator used the 1/2 em,he didn't see where it said 3/8 em at the top of the program, even though he had to edit the tool

he still missed it.

well here's my question. is there a way i can have mc print out what tools i have in each program.i know this has been covered but i'm

not really sure what i am asking. i don't want

to have to type up a sheet of all my program,s.

i want master cam to do it if this is possible.

Have you tried the HTML set-up sheet?

I think you can find it under "Tools" at the top of the page.

A "simple" tool list can be created by entering job set-up, tools, click tool number to sort, right click doc file, choose where to save it.

 

This will open the editer for printing.

Keep in mind that after posting the output from the HTML setup sheet can be edited in Word if you want to add additional text (etc.)

You can also modify the post to list the tools and other info at the top of the program and eliminate the need for a setup sheet.

Well Don we are working on ISO here and guess what we have to have a set-up sheet for everything since that is the standard in which was implented for making parts here in our guidelines and processing for parts being manufactured here so I am stuck with the setup sheet for the foreseeable furture.

Been doing great and liking the new job alot. I turned that Excel set-up sheet over to one of the guys sons that is a VB brain has just about got the Excel one worked out and so far this guy has kicked xxxx on it. I am learning alot about Vb but since I am very busy better to give it to an expert then trying to hack my way through it.

Oh yeah, our IT guy is slow but its because he rides

the short bus.
