generally its the axis with the longest amount of travel.

I've been using both for a couple of months.

I started using X exclusively a couple of weeks ago.

Only on every third Tuesday and only if you have Maintenance...

Guys seriously, I have to say I'd like to know where X is.

 

And Im sure Im not the only one.

 

Mastercam said they had there first Mantainence patch for X to be released in April.

So where is X?

I would like to know if X is going to handle tombstone work any easier. Does it have a tombstone wizard that helps guide and automate the process. I have to contantly hand modify my programs because we do multiple ops on one tombstone. It is very time consuming.

The WCS setup in V9 should help you with your tombstone work. It can be a PITA to use if you aren't used to it [i'm not so I fight with it whenever I try to use it, but it eventually works] but it should probably do what you need. I'm SURE that the WCS is one of the things that has been a focus of the development of version X since it was new [or at least much more powerful] for ver.9
