Little things for next MR/SP

Here some (IMO) little things for the next MR/SP

No big 'Wishes', only little 'issues'

1. Every time i startup i have to stretch the open-window to an comfortable size, mcan remember that size during the session, but when i restart it,s gone.

2. In the transitions parameters I have set the “Entry feed rate” to “Feed rate”.

In my NC program the feed switches to plunge rate between each Z-level.

QC CNC Software on 2-1-2007:

I don’t know if it is a bug or not, It certainly sees like one. I logged it as defect # CNC 00026228 to let the programmers have a look at it.

Did you ever get that one to work Pete? ..."

Sure, but some products stay in house for longer testing cycles than others...

Pete,

That Is Gold smile.gif

But Seriously speaking when creating a new tool plane for multiaxis axis work can we just set the Z axis and leave the post to work out X and Y?

How about a little monkey that pops up and shouts obscenities at you when you choose a bad cutting methodology.

Example:

What are you? Retarded?!?! That long tool is going to chatter and break if take that much axial cut!

How about fixing the lathe chuck in the stock flip. I read thru and didn't see it in the 'what's new', and when I do verify on a stock flip my chuck still jumps back.

Not to be picky about the chuck thing, but how bout a better representation of a chuck instead of a big round mass that is suppose to represent the jaws? If verifying an entire machine is coming, surely verifying correct looking chucks/jaws should be easy...

+1000000 Don to fixing lathe canned rough/finish. Grrr!
