X3 first impressions....

Can anyone on the beta list give us your first impressions of it? If you cannot divulge too much I understand. Just Generally speaking of course.

 

After all It was at Westec for all to see.

 

Just wondering how the personal touch, hands on is coming.

Generally speaking, no Beta testers can not

The only time we speak is if CNC divulges something in the General Forum about X3 then we may possibly elaborate. Other than that, no way, no how. I enjoy my Beta Tester status too much to put it in jeopardy.

I think it is very difficult to get in the beta program. I have been trying for quite some time since we have alot of multi tasking machines and would love to participate. I guess that all of the multi tasking lathe stuff must be done and functional..

Not really. Just ask for the paperwork. You must be on maintenance. And your reseller has to vouch for ya. And ya gotta sign the zipper-lip statement.

I have been asking my reseller for 1 1/2 years or better and had contact with CNC. Sent in a list of all machines with a response that they would keep me in mind. We have been on mainenance and waiting for lathe sync for almost 4 years.

They showed x3 but cuz it was crashing I didn't stick around long. Kept coming back to see anything else and nothin. I gave up. moved on to the other booths.

Anyways. I understand everyones opinion. Was what I expected. Just was wondering if there was anything that could be said maybe you would say it. And you did Thanks. seeya.

Someone can probably have my beta spot also. I haven't had MC for over a year, but I like to lurk since I always knew I would get back into it at some point.

 

Seems a bit selfish since it is so hard for some to get on the list.

 

I am looking to buy a couple of seats of CAM for my new workshop so if I go with MC then maybe they will keep me.
