Still can't log on with IE7's default FTP handler...

 

FireFox logs on just fine as long as you don't use the back arrow from an empty directory then I get an error..

In IE7, when I click on the red X on the password and user name box, it closes, then pops back up again

Firefox -> connects, logons and everything appears to be working.

IE Tab (a Firefox FTP add-on) -> Can connect and logon, but you are re-prompted for the password at first time you change to a new folder (weird!).

FireFTP (a Firefox FTP add-on and a real FTP client app.) -> connects, logons and everything works.

 

"Everything works" except (regardless of the client used) ->

The permissions aren't setup correctly.

You cannot overwrite a file you've previously uploaded

or delete a file that you put in the wrong folder ->

Sorry roger this is setup right as this is how I have done it as I have seen to many issues with people removing what they are not suppose to. the biggest deal is it helps to keep people from using for there personal info as that can not remove it.

 

I had many of people putting company info for there own use.
