boring heads

Looking to order some boring heads for a vmc cat 50. Need tenth tolerance down to Ø.1250 holes and up.

Circle / Kennametal Romicron boring heads are just beautiful pieces; we have several and the adjustability and accuracy are really excellent. Circle used to sell them for less than KM, so I'd suggest quoting from both if you are interested.

If I need tight tolerance I only pick our Romicron boring heads. Those are some amazing tools and of course they come with a $$$$$

This is also true for Iscar's ITS-BORE and Ingersoll's D'ANDREA boring system. The only difference is the etching and the plastic bands. Ingersoll has been about 2/3's price of Iscar for us.

What ever of these fine brands you decide on. Stick to them exclusively. Bad idea to be in a shop where one brand adjusts out clockwise and the other brand adjusts out counterclockwise. Please, save youself this headache.
