sure its a little cramped but its not far to walk from the machines to the inspection dept or tool crib

 

The saw and raw stock department is about 3 feet away from the main shop floor.

I actually have a 6 axis Motoman ES165 robot with a PDS Columbo 24000 rpm spindle to do any machining. I can reach 8' all the way around the machine (360 deg). I don't have the accuracy that you guys might, but my tolerances are substantially higher. If I'm 2mm out, it isn't the end of the world.

Okuma LB3000EX MY - Single turret single spindle set up and featuring Iscar/Mastercam Groove-turn operations and Von Ruden live tooling.

Okuma M460VE - Small great priced bridge style vertical mill. Set up feauring Iscar/Mastercam HEM dynamic toolpaths.

 

Hardinge GS200MSY - Slant lathe with Y axis and sub spindle. This machine is set up to make yo-yos as give-aways to any customers that visit our showroom.

Hardinge GX1300 vertical mill. This mill will be set up and programmed using the resident Fanuc manual guide i conversational control features.

 

Chiron FZ-12KS- The Chiron people will be setting these up next week for demonstration so I don't know what they have planned.
