X+ for X6 is on the way.

 

But since X6 is available as 64Bit version, I decided to convert X+ from Masm32 to VC++.

That makes it easer to maintain both versions (32Bit and 64Bit).

 

I've started with the Setupsheet. The "tool list" and the "toolpath sketcher" will follow.

I have x + installed and can use it but how can I config it to look how I want it? I have looked all over the form and other sites but no joy. Please help

Instead of starting another thread i thought i would post this here.

 

I downloaded x+ for mx 5 and got the I.T department to install it as we don’t have the permissions . he tried to install it and straight away it came up with errors in German? Any ideas on why it wont install?

 

I’m using mx5 mu1 is that makes a difference.

Yes, the first page that appears when you trigger X+ has a dialog box that has an option for excel or HTML. I do not have access to it at the moment, but I believe its in the upper right side of the screen.

It looks like X+ is already installed.

 

Try to uninstall X+ first. And Mastercam should be closed before installing X+.

i have looked and X+ did not install. The I.T guy has the X+ setup.exe on the desktop and trying to run it from there. is this correct or does it need to be in the shared\mcam5 directory?

ye i left clicked on in the tool bar area and x+ was not present. As soon as he starts the install errors come up staright away. we have to be doing something wrong

This is the first release for X6.

It includes:

- Setup sheet

- Tool list

- Toolpath sketcher

- Snapshot (white background)

 

Changes:

- Old xss and css files can not be used. So don't copy those old files.

- Old Excel templates should still work. You can copy those old files.

- The tool list now uses the same dialog like the setup sheet.

- some more parameters added.

- logo.png in mastercam installation folder removed (look into css)

- more infos for lathe operations added (stepover, stock and so on...)

- HSM Performance Pack is not supported yet.

- support of javascript in HTML.

- ...
