That is SWEET! I love it!

Food for thought tho....

any way you can get that back feed rate a little faster....seems like you could take a chunk of time out if you got a faster back feed.

If that is axis sub....Does the axis sub take out the back feedrate?

anywho that part looks like alot of fun!

It's a 2d high speed peel mill that's been wrapped around a dia to create an axis substitution.

That's stinkin' cool Ron,..

Ding Ding Ding we have ourselves a winner. Yes it was cool and very neat to see it all work out like I had hoped. That is the beauty of this work is how it can be my way to express my creativity. On paper looking at my education I am of average ability and intelligence, but when I get to do this I feel blessed to see what abilities I have been blessed with. Fun to have conversations with highly educated people. I still get asked where did I get my degree from to do what I can do and to know what I know. I always refer people back to the the University of OJT. (On the Job Training) :scooter::laughing::guitar::geek::thumbsup:

Are you able to wrap a toolpath along a contour? Say you want to create a toolpath like this that follows on non round surface. Or in my case wrap the toolpath along a curve that has a straight lead in from air into the material and wrapped around a cylinder.  I've tried using 5 axis roughing in 2018 but can't get it contained the way I want to.
