  1. Don't have anything to offer on the other options but Vericut has excellent tech support.
  2. No that is not @crazy^millman that is @MWearne
  3. Pretty sure this is Asian Joni Bonkers posting!!!!!!
  4. You need a fire extinguisher for metals…they are very expensive.
  5. If it is a licensed educational version you can post (mine is an educational license). Home Learning edition can not post, both use .emcam extensions.
  6. After selecting all the operations, right click -Edit Selected Operations - Change NC File Name - Rename your file.
  7. Surface High Speed Radial should work. If you need to meet into a shoulder use Blend to cut this area.
  8. One thing I can't stand is that "glow highlighting"...turn that crap off for good!!!!!
  9. Different product....I don't have any experience with it.
  10. Possibly it is a stock/ part flip issue but without a file to look at it is only a guess.
  11. Another option is to use colours to differentiate the geometry then use a quick mask. I am big on using levels, colours etc to separate everything whenever possible.
  12. HSM advisor does I believe.
  13. Look up Fanuc Macro B programing.
  14. A Macro would be the choice for this.
  15. Not related but some chemical machining. https://www.shimifrez.com/services
  16. I assume it is chemically done. This is how they do Razor blades I think.
  17. Just assuming there is some chemically sharpening happening at small diameters?
  18. We still do it! Not as often now..... but for proto-typing it is needed. Making reamers (D shape bits), grinding HSS lathe bits, making boring bars and internal threading tools, facing tools etc. I had a guy here and he would free hand grind the bottom of the end mills, they worked well after!!! He would sharpen drills down to 0.02" by hand.
