yes, it should be in the correct orientation but you can move it using Xform, STL ... then rotate/ translate etc..
Dynamic planes may also work for you in X4 Mu3
Dave:

Dave:
Using X4 Mu3 with the Dynamic planes is just so much easier... I have this discussion several users (of other software).. and they have liked what we have to offer.
Hello:
I have a fanuc w/ "Y" axis... Where do I set the "Y" direction for a single tool in the offset tables...
I look it has "GEO" / "X" / "Z" / RAD.... then I was told to go to shift (soft keys twice) ...but i don't see what I am looking for
Any help... please let me know
Rakesh:
I get this all the time, From Support at CNC Software, I was told to " Lower the speed/quality slider down 1 notch allows the part to completely verify."
Also, check the tolerance as to what your "STL" model is set for
Yes it is available... contact your dealer
It is demo/ HLE (Home learning edition)... It will save as an "Emcx" file extension.. You will not be able to bring the file into "Industry"...but you can bring an "industry file (mcx) file into the "demo/HLE version"
Son Vo:
in your post look for the postblock "Plin"... then read what is on that line.. if you want to force al "X" and "Y" moves out, then use the "*" symbol to force out what is necessary
Jay:
After the operation is created, goto the "geometry" then where it has the drill options, select the sort option, now select it in the order you would like... Please give me a call if you need further assistance
Goldorak:
clean toolpath...yes... but fast I haven't found that to be...we cut several parts and found that the "legacy" style was faster but a lot of climb/conventional direction cutting
As for the "Dynamic pocket"..it was great for tool wear.
