I still think making e mails only visible to dealers and admin/moderators should be considered,my reason being is...long story short after doing a 5 axis demo and ironing out the final details and start talking about posts, i hear, and i quote "I already have posts i got from emastercam.com"......hmmmmmm nice, now i guess i have to support them to,needless to say that email from someone cost thousands
You should if possible e mail your ipt file to [email protected] and explain the settings and any other details.......i use inventor 5.3 with v9.0 sp1 with no problems......are you importing using the Mastercam Direct convertor or doing a File,Convertors,AutoDesk thru mastercam...i`ve never had a problem either way
I do agree Chris that $300.00 is steep and those changes should be a freebie but i guess someone saw different...anyhow regardless of what was charged the option is there for the user to make those changes also and not have to pay.Just like the parts you make in the shop,if the vendor could and knew how to he probably wouldnt need your services, same as with dealers and posts.I dont agree though with anyone handing out posts when they can not verify the legitimacy of the users system whether they wrote the post or not,as James said earlier lots of requests come from pirates because they cant call there dealer for help

Thats why only admins and moderators should be able to view members email addresses, its like James said most people asking are probably pirating, especially when the majority of them its there first post....i see it this way, would it be right for me to contact shops and offer programming for next to nothing and put someone out of a job just because i could....people take software for granted like its a God given right to have it and not something they should have to pay for but theres alot of individuals that get the shaft when stuffs handed out,yes granted posts arent the majority of the system but there a big piece of the puzzle and everyone that gets handed out a dealer some where lost out on.....times are tough enough righ now and that isnt helping it any

Good deal.......one door closes and another one opens....like some of the other guys said here, what you know cant be taken away from you so as long as you keep building on it you`ll be more and more valuable,i have to agree with you it is a great to see the over educated underskilled shop foreskin i mean foreman get his in the end....i been down that road too Chris with the know it all know nothing foreman thats only in charge because every word out of his mouth is yes boss
Check on www.mastercam.com in the support section...theres a couple downloads for the v9sp1....try to use the Uptext chook on your post from the NCUtils menu
Who modified it?......the one i use i enter the number of the sub in the tool parameters page and then a question prompts for the number of the main when you post.....upload your post to the ftp so we can take a look
