Screen Configure,NC Settings,Operation Defaults,Select Defaults.df9,right click and go into Job Setup,look for the Tool Offset Registers-its set to add 1 to length 20 to diameter...........set them to 0 and 0.......oh and make sure after you save the change to the mill9.cfg or whatever your cfg file is named [ 06-29-2002, 08:40 AM: Message edited by: d0gFartz ]

I use the WCS constantly,i even made files that all i have to do is import the views and assign the new origins,the offsets and stuff already are assigned ........ like G54 thru G59 and G54.1 P1 thru P48 and all the common Horizontal and Vertical machine planes....WCS is the only way to go i think

I couldnt agree more Trevor!,besides that last time i checked my title bar it said Mastercam not Mastercad.Yes it would be nice to be a little stronger on the cad side such as parametrically but its getting the job done na d solids only costing $###.## right now its insane not to have,one job will prolly pay for it just my 2 cents [ 05-28-2002, 10:58 AM: Message edited by: Webmaster ]

yeh dealt with a few,i just edit the header by opening the file with a editor and getting rid of all the junk but the XYZ info then change the extention to a doc file and bring it into mastercam

Start,Programs,Accessories,Program Compatibility Wizard,Next,I want to choose from a list,Mill9,Microsoft Windows 2000,DONT SELECT ANYTHING for the display settings for the program...just hit NEXT,close mill after it opens it and hit next thru the last couple screens

Use your WCS(v9) or regular named views(v8 `n lower) and in there you can set a new zero,or just as a quicke you can do it in the T/C Plane in the tool parameters page

You need the "Feature Exchange" add on for MDT to run the model thru and build a tree of the features

Just goto www.aks.com,then go under Support & Downloads,click on HASP,Select End User,Latest HASP driver,download HDD32.zip to a temp folder and unzip it and double click on the HDD32.exe that extracted from the zip.You will the have the newest driver for your XP to run [ 04-24-2002, 07:46 AM: Message edited by: d0gFartz ]
