It was our ProE converter...(guy) after further review.. he was saving them as a parasolid .X_T, but little did he know that doing that eliminated all of the swept blended surfaces he created when I would bring them in. ME BAD..

Sorry... I too have the Pro E converter and it always gives me trouble with surfaces... I have Pro E installed here now so I convert the file here, then bring it into Mastercam.

parasolids... .X_T work well also.

Mark.. there is a file on the ftp in the mc9 folder that is not a .zip file called human head.. (next to the one you put up) have you looked at that one? otherwise can you select it as a check surface so it dont gouge?

I will bite.. send it my way if you still need help...

I do it pip's way... its about the quickest route I can come up with also.

Just guessin... under control definition....I see one of the control topics it says linear..it gives you many options for motion controls..see if that might be it?

A Ram? We have 2 EX8 Mits Ram sinkers, I never knew you could get a RAM with thread cutting capabilities. We can burn threads, or are you talking a wire edm?
