screen-shade settings- change your chord height to .001 should tighten it up...

I created a new tool library... after I make changes to a tool I save it in the customized library I created. Seems to work very well for me... thats just how I do it.

after checking the MRU , it might reappear in the top verses the side where you were used to seeing it... just drag it back over to the side.

in the grey area where it use to populate.. right click and check MRU function bar...

Im guessin, but have you tried to power both down and leave them sit for a few minutes then bringing everything back up? just guessin and sometimes if I have unexplainable trouble.. I just power everything down and back up.
