    No can do. "This is a good question but because of the new interface it won’t work the way I think you would like it to. If you add the midpoint icon it appears in the drop down Not from the list but from the create point icon in the toolbar"

    I called them,they said it was logged as a bug. Doesnt happen to everyone but it does happen. I'm going back to V9 until the next update comes out.

    Windows sporatically will not allow NC file to be overwritten. (Will not give permission) It wont flag you,So you just keep sending the original G code to the machine and you Pull your Hair out!!!!!! because you think you have lost your mind!     Found it! Now to get it to stick? Customize/Drop downs right/Menu create point/ Catagory auto cursor/Drag midpoint icon over to Create point menu, It sticks there save mtb and green check. It doesnt show up under Create /point/ flyout menu?

    If it is gone I guess I can Zoom in on the area and then look for the midpoint symbol to appear then analayze the distance between the mid point I just created and each end point(s) too make sure it is truly the mid point.

    Thanks Guys, I have the Name game figured out but... When I post I am always dead ended in the NC file Not NC/Job 580/Core etc. Do I have to pick,pick,pick everytime?

    There is a problem with verify recognizing the WCS. (My Verify is almost in total darkness unless its a Top System view cut) "Bug is logged as cnc00016075" XSP1 10.0.14.19

    Roger Want it & just like before?! Another round of Maintenance is Hanging in the Balance I guess I will have to delete my old chain if I don't want to see it while chaining over the top of it during an edit. Thank you for responding

    Do I have to toggle my comp's left and right from now on and or Babysit my chain Picks so there is No editing to be done anyway? Also, Do I have to see my old Highlighted chain As I am trying to rechain? It is very confusing.

    As I tweak away some more at X. I would like to Start a new toolpath group but its greyed out? The exsisting groups (From a v9 import)are not. Also I would like my NC file to be the same as the Toolpath group "Draft angles 3_5" etc. Not (In a George Carlin Voice) "Machine Group 1" Thanks Tony

    If you have SW then "Save as" Any Solidworks file as a .X_T parasolid File and MC will open It No problem.

    Take the Hasp out "run the Batch file" (The one with the Picture of the gear) Turn off Your PC put the Hasp back on then start the PC. Tony

    Does anyone know where I can find one of those Portable Z setters that lights up when touch a tool off on them? I tried google with no luck. were still "Shimmin" on one machine. I am hoping to avoid a lot of finish Z cuts with this device. Thanks Tony

    The answers here are mostly from MC users and some are "From the Hip" Not quite the Corporate sterile replies you are looking for.     G code, No, I had too log that one over there. I have identical settings as some others at work, Only I share a Net Lic. with the owner who only uses it for undercut detection once a week Thanks though. Tony (It just goes to show you Nothing is Bullet proof right out of the gate in this area)

    Thad, $37.50 above and beyond I could have grabbed X ...But I know I could get it done with less effort with 9.1 MR105. I loaded the latest X patch today and will try it out after the Holidays.

    Mitchell You can no longer by "Off the shelf" PC memory RAM For The Hurcos ,They stopped that. $$$$$ Tell There sales guy You want the Ram specs and where to find it. They gave it to us.(Eventually) You will Upload to the HD but then you have to load the Program into the controllers RAM. If you plan on Surfacing Molds etc. you will need more then they give you Tony
