  1. I have had that same thing happen to me about a dozen times. I have sent it MC each time. I do not use auto save. I do not see a pattern to why this is happening either, just whenever it wants to crash, I guess. ---------- Bryon
  2. There is just me. I have all the .mcx, posts and programs on the network. I was always curious if puting the control def. on the network would work. I will have to try it out. Hardmill, I ran into your old buddy Dale the other day, he said to say Hi. ------------ Bryon
  3. Our Okuma's are a pretty tough machine also ----------------- Bryon
  4. Andreas I also am getting an error saying the file is corupt. Bryon
  5. I had this same problem a few days before MR1 was out. Check out this link http://www.emastercam.com/cgi-bin/ultimate...ic;t=018750;f=1 Now since I have updated to MR1, it has solved the issue for me so far. _________________ Bryon
  6. Pete, I sent you a file. Thanks for the help. Bryon
  7. I have a file that was sent to me in an IGES format, opened it up in X, added some details, saved it out as an IGES file for approval to be sent to our cusuomer which has Mechanical Desktop. When trying to open it in MD it either does not translate all the surfaces, or MD just locks up. If I translate the files to an IGES format in v9 there are no problems. If this was the only file that this has happened, I would say that something is wrong with the file, but it has happened numerous of times. Any one else having issues like this and if so does any know if this is a fix for MR1? -------------- Thanks Bryon

    MillingMan, Check your e-mail Bryon
  9. Mike, E-mail me, I will take a look. Bryon
  10. Rob, We use the Command MegaMax system and it is a very nice boring system. We have even made some bars that go with this that bore up to 25" Dia. No complaints on this system what so ever. Bryon
  11. Thanks John, I was hoping there was a way to do that because the way V.9 did it fit well with our ISO Standards of traceabity Bryon
  12. In V.9 or in X can you print the file descriptor when making a hard copy or print? I liked printing the complete path name in V.9 when you had Name checked to "Y" and am hoping I can do the same in X? Thanks Bryon
  13. Command and Komet also make very nice boring bar tooling. Check out Komet for the cartridge, we have some of their cartridges that we have used on some boring bars that we have made. Bryon
  14. MillingMan, I have run into the same problem, except I am on a network, the atributes are correct on the folder, I have admin rights, and it was a new file that I was trying to save. If it was a file that was created earlier, it would let me save it. I have found this error to come up only if it was a new file. Bryon
  15. Printing works here with part shaded and background in white, just like it supposed to Unless I have a white line in the drawing, then it prints the line in white instead of black. Printing on a HP 1220 and hp5100. Any ideas why this is happening? Ver.X SP1
  16. Robert, I can print all the other PDF files except the GSG Bryon
  17. Lee, www.sgstool.com Part # sd-7 is a 3/4 dia. on a 1/4 shank HTH Bryon
  18. Another issue I have with the printing in X is that it only prints the name of the file not the path like v.9 did. This was a nice feature for traceability for ISO
  19. John, I don't know if this will work for you, but we have done this in the past and works very well. Take a endmill that is .503 in dia. and grind a .403 slot thru the center on the end. You will have to grind clearance on the inside for clearance. I don't know what kind of steel you are using, but like I said before this does work very well and relatively inexpensive. HTH
  20. MillingMan If you hit the letter "R" after you pick Circular. Then if you hit "D" it goes back to diameter HTH
  21. Rich, No I never used it in 9. I used modify/ Break/ 2 pieces. I was not sure how to break a spline in X until I saw how Pete was doing it. Thanks guys
  22. Pete, I think what was happening here was, instead of going to Edit/ Trim/Break/ Trim/Break and the picking the point icon and the break icon. If you use Edit/ Trim/Break/ Many Pieces and then putting in the number 2 in the number space it breaks the spline into 2 lines not just breaking the spline. Is there a way to use it this way and not get lines as a result?
  23. Mark, I'm having the same problem when trying to break a spline in two pieces. Any spline. It will turn the spline into 2 lines.
  24. stevieboy, I get the same thing.
