  1. Why not both? 24" Wide Screen on the left 20" on the right. I don't think I could go back to just one monitor.
  2. Jeff, On the ftp site, file Solid Help-1 Is this what you were looking for? HTH
  3. I agree with Thad, the new way in X makes more sense to me. It was definetly different the first time I used it, but know it is the way it should have been.
  4. Brian, Are you using the Helialu of the Helimill? Because if you using the Helialu, they have 18 in stock in Texas.
  5. I'm with Ron, Widell has been good for the specials.
  6. 5 AX, We don't use that software, but we do have Predator DNC. The reason I say this is because I would make sure your delaer has a good support team. Ours was unreachable and had to call Oregon if I needed anything. That's a long way from MI. Good luck on the job tracking software
  7. In Ver9 I could go File, Browse, type in the directory and it would flash all the files on the screen that were in that directory. Can we do this in X?
  8. Slick, Are you in 9 or X? In 9, go to Screen,Surf disp, Show back. Is this like something you are looking for? HTH
  9. Okuma 4va,40va,50va,(2)60vae,MB56vb(love this machine) Okuma's have always ran very well fo us.
  10. I am supposed to get mine on Wed., so I don't know what driver. Can't wait to get it. I got the same video card that you have. How do you like that laptop?
  11. John, Can you e-mail that program also. Thanks
  12. Bruce, I see my link doesn't work because obviously I don't know how to add the link for the Thread page. But if you do a search for "High Feed Cutters" there was a discussion on just this such topic. We use Iscar Helialu cutters here and they rip.
  13. Bruce, Check out this thread and see if this helps at all High Feed Cutters
  14. That is a very good idea John, I think it would save CNC Software a lot of bad publicity. It does seem that a lot of the issues that people are having are video related.
  15. Create, arc, tangent 2 enities (full circle), just like the options that you have with creating an arc tangent to 3 enities.
  16. James, If you have any aluminum to cut at all, why not go to something that is designed for aluminum. I use Iscar's HeliAlu and cut 750ipm all the time with a 2 in. cutter, but watch out, the chips come come out like bullets. I love this cutter for aluminum. HTH
  17. Thanks guys, I ended up puting those selection options in the RMB and like John said it is just going to take time to remember that they are there. Thad, No kidding, I have been here going on 30 years, right out of high school. They have been pretty good to me over the years. Ahh, Auburn, home of the "Corn Festival"
  18. Thad, It's not that I don't like the mouse clicks, it's that when I want to pick chain, I have to pick the drop down arrow, then pick chain, next time I want to window, I go the the drop down, pick window. If all the icons were visible, like in a toolbar, if I wanted chain, pick chain icon, if I wanted window, pick window icon, if I wanted area, pick area icon. But I also understand that you can't do that with everything because of the obvious reason of there would be no room to draw if all the icons were visible.
  19. Thanks Steve, That works perfect, now how come I didn't think of that?
  20. Steve, Yes, the single, window, chain, area, vector. It would be nice if I could pick these of a single toolbar instead of a dropdown. If there is a way to do it now, I just don't know how.
  21. Also, have the General Selection options in a toolbar rather than a drop down
  22. bthomps5, We have a LB15 from 1984 and those machines just run. The only thing we have done to it, is replace a drive board once and a light bulb. I,m sure MC will work very well, our machine has Okuma's IGF on this machine, so the operators do their own programming.
  23. How about sometime in May
  24. Looking at a new laptop myself. This one is a Toshiba. How does this one sound? Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2400 [1.83GHz, 2MB L2 cache, 667MHz FSB] 17" Diagonal Widescreen XGA+ Ultimate TruBrite™ Display (1440 x 900) NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7300 with 256MB GDDR2 discrete graphics memory 160GB: Two 80GB HDDs (5400rpm, Serial-ATA) DVD SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) drive Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11a/b/g) Thanks, Bryon
  25. Not me either ------------ Bryon
